We are changing our clinical system from one called Emis, to SystmOne. SystmOne is used by all of the other GP Practices in Great Yarmouth & Northern Villages Primary Care Network and nearly all in Norfolk & Waveney. It will enable us to better integrate with other medical services such as community care.
The new system will have many other benefits to our staff and patients, and will give patients more access to additional services at the Surgery.
The switchover will occur between the 11th and 17th April, and during this period we will be seeing patients for urgent care only. We will have additional access to GPs and Nurses before and after this period to increase capacity for routine care, and we will ensure that you receive enough of your routine medications during this period.
Please could we kindly ask that you are extra patient with our staff during the switchover period.
